Advantages: Great taste, not sickly or harsh. A pleasant drink.

Disadvantages: I'm not sure I'd go for it over the other drinks I have, maybe not that special.

I have to confess that I don't generally drink Cider. There's just something about it that is unpleasant to drink in my opinion, but when a mate of mine was having this, and said how nice it was, I thought 'why not give it a try', and I was pleasantly surprised.

The bottles are pretty large in size, and definitely value for money. At just £1.58 for a 568ml bottle, I didn't feel like I was being ripped off. The bottle isn't anything fancy, why bother when it's only going to get thrown away? The label clearly highlights what the drinks is and the alcoholic percentage; 4.5%. I like the fact that this is a beer that is sort of an average amongst levels of alcohol, not too weak and not too strong.

Upon tasting the drink was where my opinion of this Cider changed. It's not got that typical harsh, sickly taste that I generally imagine Cider's have from experience. My experience has always been that Cider is too sweat. This on the other hand was very pleasant, and had just enough kick to make it enjoyable. A little bit fruity in taste gave it that something extra compared to other beers.

Now as much as I enjoyed this drink, in comparison to other beers it's not changed my tastes a great deal. It was a nice drink, but that's all. It wasn't something that really stood out, and to be honest, my reaction is only from what I had expected to what I got, because I was really expecting something terrible. If I had to choose a Cider, then yes, this would be it, but if I got to choose between this and another beverage, then the other would win hands down. It's just nice to know that there is a Cider I like that if I really want a change can order without wondering what it will be like.

Summary: The Cider that changed my opinion of Ciders. Finally a Cider that didn't taste that bad!
