“ Manufacturer: Burger King / Type: Milkshake „
I don't consume these too often but I will treat myself every now and again!
These milkshakes are only available in Burger King and they can be bought in two sizes. I think it's a medium size and a large size. I always opt for the smaller size as I think the larger one would be a little too difficult to consume with a meal. The milkshake is a creamy colour and it smells really sweet and inviting. It's also quite thick in consistency. It somehow manages to "hold" my straw without it falling out - that's how thick these drinks are.
The drink reminds me a little of melted ice cream. It does taste nice but it tastes VERY sweet so I don't think it'd suit everyone's taste. However, this would be an ideal drink for people with a sweet tooth. I would describe the taste as sweet vanilla with a sugary aftertaste. The drink does contain a high amount of sugar and you can taste the sugar almost straight away. Again, this may put some people off. Also avoid this drink if you're on a diet as it is both high in calories and sugar. My best guess is that it's made with full fat milk so I believe it would be quite fattening too. It does taste like it is made with full fat milk.
After drinking I end up with a sugary aftertaste in my mouth that makes me want to brush my teeth - when I can't. The drink is also quite filling and it can come across as quite sickly if it's drunk too fast.
Not bad in moderation I suppose.
Tastes like a white chocolate milkshake. If that's what you want then you're in luck. If you want a nice tasty plain vanilla milkshake, look elsewhere.
We haven't got a Burger King by us so I don't go very often but the other day I was in town so went in for a burger and milkshake. I didn't think much of the burger but the vanilla milkshake I had was wicked and loads better than the ones you get in Mcdonalds.
It's a thick milkshake and very cold. Its a bit like very runny ice cream and is that thick that my straw stands up in it without me holding it.
The vanilla flavour is nice and strong and the milkshake is proper sweet, in the end I had to wait for mine to melt a bit because that takes the sweetness off a bit but its still dead sugary. When it melts the milkshake goes runnier as well and that makes it easier to drink because when it's too thick it is hard to suck it up through the straw especially when you've got sensitive teeth like me.
THe milkshakes in Burger King come in 2 sizes and I had the smallest one because I knew I wouldn't be able to drink a big one. I don't know how much it cost because me and my mate paid for our meals together but I remember looking at the menu and thinking it was dearer than in Mcdonalds.
I'll have one of these again because it cooled me down even though it was pretty hot in Birmingham today. It's not a very refreshing drink because it's too thick and creamy but I thought it was a dead nice treat today even if I can't have them very often because of there not being a Burger King by me.
Vanilla milk shakes from burger king are the best milk shakes I have ever tasted.
They are served all day at all burger king out lets and are served in a cardboard cup with a plastic lid that is almost see through and has a hole in it for your straw.
The milk shake is ice cold which is just the way I like it as I hate the taste of warm milk, the concistency is very thick and very close to slightly melted ice cream so is fantastic on a hot summers day. The vanilla extract used in the milk shake is perfect, there is enough to set your taste buds alight but not too much that it becomes over powering.
The only down side for me is that if I drink it too fast I get brain freeze, you know the one when you have eaten too much ice cream and get a pain in the side of your head.
Burger King as been around for as long as I can remember, I used to prefer McDonalds although Burger King definitely comes out tops in my opinion. It may be a little more expensive than McDonalds, although the taste for me is of a much better quality.
They offer a vegetarian menu and you can also order food for your convenience, i.e. no toppings, no sauces, etc. I've always found the staff friendly and helpful although at times I have been standing waiting for my order that little much too long. Not too good if you're popping out on your lunch break and have a time limit to get back for work.
Today for my lunch I'm going to have a Spicy Chicken Royale Meal which is around £4.65, to give you a feel for the menu I'll explain what this consists of:
* Spicy Chicken Royale: This is like a chicken burger but in a roll shape rather than a bun. The chicken is spicy and tender, the salad and sauces are crunchy, fresh and tasty.
* Medium Fries: These are of a generous portion, I absolutely love Burger King fries and find that these have the right amount of thickness for fries, cooked well and they come served with no salt, therefore you just take away the salt sachets and add as much as you want.
* Medium Coke: Bit watery at times, maybe this is due to them adding too much ice.
You can order burgers, fries, onion rings, barbecue ribs, salads, breakfast menu, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milkshakes etc. In my local Burger King we help ourselves to straws, napkins, salt, ketchup and any sugar.
I both eat in and takeout. When I've eaten in I've always found the place to be clean and tidy and there's always someone taking away the rubbish and cleaning surfaces.
Nice for a "junk food" fix every now and again.
ETA: Oops have i put this in the wrong section? Unsure how to delete but it's still Burger King so i think it'll be okay.
Wow, yum. A Burger King milkshake has always tasted very good to me. It is a quality drink( well, kind of) that will never disappoint, unless the machine that makes it brakes down!
In my opinion, the vanilla milkshake that is served at Burger King goes down nicely with a regularlar meal of burger and chips, with a round of diddy doughnuts to top it all off. Compared to McDonald's vanilla milkshakes, this one tastes a whole lot tastier indeed.
Another interesting thing about the vanilla milkshake, is that is simply tastes like melted ice cream, and has the texture of it too! I think the staff must just squirt a load out of the ice cream machine, and mix it all around. Delish it is.
Sometimes it can be difficult to suck up the milkshake that is served up in a lovely unrecyclable cup, because think of it as trying to suck up vanilla ice cream through a small straw!
So overall, I rather like this vanilla ice cream - I mean milkshake, because of its lovely taste. however it can sometimes become a little bit sickly at times :)
