It tends to have a longer growing season to other grapes, and as such there are many varying degrees of ripeness, at which the grape can be harvested. Places with a hot climate, like California, will tend to leave the grapes to over-ripen before harvest. So here we go again. Some might say that I have a seemingly impressive knowledge for wine, others may say that I just drink too much!!
