So here we go again. Some might say that I have a seemingly impressive knowledge for wine, others may say that I just drink too much!! Either way, this time I want to take you through one of my favourites, Cabernet sauvignon. Probably one of the most well known types of wine there is, cabernet sauvignon is also arguably one of the oldest. The word sauvignon derives from the French "sauvage", meaning wild. It was long argued that the grapes origins were ancient, stretching back as far as the Roman empire.
