The highlight of my day, Well maybe not every day but often in the winters months particularly in the evenings I will have a mug of hot chocolate. I use either Cadbury break or Cadbury highlights.

Cadbury highlights are a hot chocolate drink powder and can be bought in different flavours. Chocolate, dark chocolate, Fudge, toffee, caffe latte, chocolate malt, mint, orange,
Cadbury highlights can be bought are most supermarkets and many corner shops.
It can be bought in a plastic jar, which has a waist for easy gripping. The jar has the purple blue Cadbury coloured wrapper and lid so easy to recognise. There are 220g in a jar. Also can be bought in twin packets containing individual servings.
This drink is suitable for vegetarians not vegans or dairy intolerant people as it contains dairy.
The jars cost £2.34in tesco’s the packets cost 36pfor the twin packs. Cadbury break is cheaper at £1.66p for 400g

To make a mug of this chocolate, switch the kettle on , boil and then leave to cool for a minute while you put 3 teaspoons of chocolate powder in a mug then add the cooled water. Your drink will need stirring well, otherwise you will find chocolate residue at the bottom of your mug when you have drunk it.

The taste of Cadbury’s chocolate highlight drink is lovely creamy chocolaty smooth and warming, a comforting drink just right for a dull cold winters evening.
There are 365 kcal per 100g powder it suggests 11g serving is 40 kcal.

If I wanted to make a chocolate cake or chocolate icing I would add a few teaspoons of this to the mix to make it flavoursome.
