Not bad for a low fat option (Cadbury Highlights Instant Hot Chocolate)

Advantages: lower in fat and calories! Disadvantages: The taste is not as good
After hearing how this was pretty good I decided to give it a go! The tub says it only has 40 calories per mug and less than 1.5grams of fat which is pretty good going for hot chocolate. Now normally when making hot chocolate you use four heaped teaspoons then pour over hot water but this time the tub said only 3 which made me instantly think "ewww this is going to weak and thin" But as soon as I poured the hot water over it and lifted it to my mouth I could actually smell the chocolate in it- unlike some others! The taste I would say is ok. Better than some diet hot chocolates but nowhere near as good as Green & Blacks or Aero which are not quite as healthy! So I thought to myself why not add a 4th teaspoon maybe that will make it as yummy?! Yes I know this defeats the purpose of the drink slightly but it is still probably better for you than some of the others out there. Adding the 4th teaspoon did make a difference and it was a richer taste. However it didn't make it remarkeably better just a bit. Summary: One for all the dieters out there to try! |
