Cafe Direct is available through most supermarkets and is really the best choice for coffee as I will explain. Firstly, it produces a rich, full-bodied flavoursome almost spicy coffee which can be used in a filter or cafetiere. Despite it's richness the coffee is well balanced with a smooth rounded flavour which can please even the pickiest coffee drinker. It is slow roasted which makes for this best flavour. It comes in regular or decaffeinated varieties with no reduction in the flavour. Secondly, it provides a fair deal for some of the poorest agricultural farmers in the world. Cafe Direct is a coffee brand that is a Fairtrade affiliated company - that means that it offers a better deal for the coffee growers around the world and the people who work for them on tiny wages. It also means that the product is certified 100% GM-free, which is all the better. You can also get totally organic Cafe Direct products. Now, if this stuff tasted like sludge then I might be able to justify buying it because it's connected with Oxfam and Fairtrade and is therefore kinder to the environment etc etc, but I wouldn't recommend it on dooyoo falsely.
