Capri-sun refreshing fruit juice!

I don't want to bore you so I shall give you a brief insight into the history of the drink and then tell you my views and opinions.

Capri-sun is a popular fruit juice drink and has been for over 20 years here in the UK. It was originally made in Germany during the 1960's but wasn't until 1981 it began to be distributed all over Britain by Coca Cola Enterprises. This brand of drinks is owned by the German company WILD who also own a number of other products mainly distributed through out Germany.

To this day Capri-sun is sold world wide in over 100 different countries and currently produced in 18 different factories due to high demand.

Capri-sun drinks are also renowned for being very healthy and one carton contains 1 of your 5 a day fruit portions. They are a great supply of vitamin C and a majority of the flavours contain 100% fruit juice with no additives. This is a great way to get you children eating healthy.

There is a huge selection of flavours and I believe there is something suitable for everybody. These juice drinks stereotypically come in unique silver pouches which are pierced by a straw which makes them ideal for children as it prevents them from being spilt.

Some of the most popular flavours of this drink are Strawberry, Splash Cool, Tropical Punch, Banana Bash, Orange, Red Berry, Coastal Cool and Lemonade however there a many other flavours available in local supermarkets. These also offer a range of flavoured waters and energy sports drinks. All in all there are an astonishing 31 flavours.

I have tried many of them and I found that the majority of the ones I tasted were very refreshing and thirst quenching as well as being extremely fruity and tasty, my favourite flavour being tropical punch. These are the perfect drinks to keep you hydrated during the summer months and are suitable for all ages but more so children due to their practicality and fruity flavours.

Capri-sun in my opinion are also of very good value as you usually get 10 pouches in a box which usually costs me around £2 from my local supermarket working out at only 20p a carton much cheaper then its competitors fruit juices.
