Advantages: cold and refreshing
Disadvantages: can be too good
Please join me right now for a refreshingly wet, cold, long, twangy (it's your first one of the day, and you haven't sneaked a quiet one already) pint of Carling.
Now I perfer it in a Carling imprinted special pint glass, others who are a real lady perhaps little nervous may perfer a half glass which is not as special as the pint glass:) but does the trick all the same.
Today, I've gone a little crazy and have bought you a pint out of my own "Carling p up the wall account". This is an interactive experience that could catch on. Ok, lets start...
Hold your horses....Now observe the subject matter first. The colour is a yellow ochre and changes in darkness depending where you are. The smell has a slight sweet nectar scent that lingers around the subject and reacts seductively with your brain it tells me. "take me I'm yours"... Of course it speaks different languages of course depending what language you speak, it is a very clever lager.
Now lets take a sip............................................... .................... aahhhhhh Apologies for the silence, this happened in rehearsals earlier. I thought a swift one would help this interactive experience... obviously not. How did you sip yours? It is difficult to sip Carling, the first contact with this lager is better gulped down. This I feel is so that your mouth, throat and assssophergus... has an all in one twangy, zappy, cold, refreshing experience. The coldest goes straight to the brain...well I like to use this term as most people say it's the eeefffect of the alcohol. I'm not sure though. Carling has a 3.5% alcohol volumn in one pint. Naturally the more Carling you intake the more you feel the alcohol. What you must note is when nature calls, the alcohol remains in your body......aaahh.
For the purpose of this review I have slowed down my intake speed. Obviously, you have not.............Did you actually taste it, my friend? Did you look at the small compact bubble forms that rise to the top of the special glass drawing back the white curtain head and reaching for the surface already to play with your tongue? Do you ever think about the number of processes it has to go through before it reaches your Carling hungary lips? No....you just wanted a free pint didn't you.
What is quite amazing is that in some places you can get a Carling Extra cold. Well, that is jusssht brilliant. The price is around the same as the ordinary Carling draught pump from, £1.95-£3.85 per pint. I have tried the Extraa cold brand and have found that the lager is the same temperature, though the Carling glass gets all frostied up before Carling is poured in, maybe It was just my Carling mind playing tricks with my consciousnessh...............................aaahh . Yesshh it is a very good pint. I would say that Carlsberg is a good start of the evening pint. After about 3/4 of the way down the pint the taste buds start to get use to the twangy zippy
taste sensations that occur with the first 4 gulps. Oh yes, sipping hasshh been found to be difficult with a pint of Carling. Now if you are a real lady, sipping is probably perferred as gulping is not advised, while cradling a halfff pint. Perssshonally, I've never seen it done..................................aaahhh. What is helpful if you have had an orgy of a night with many Carlings; your morning head is a little more lighter than if you've had a night out on much heavier lagers. Though it does depends on quantity.
Going on how fast you drink your lager..........I bet you get through quite a few. I can advise you that if that is the case and to save you dipping into your "Carling p up the wall account". You can checkout out your local shhuperstore for great bargains, for exshhample for 24 cans of Carling, it will cost around £13.99. Don't ask for the extra cold cans, it will confuse the staff and hinder valueable drinking time. For the same effect just pop your cans into a fridge.
What'shh that?..you thought THAT was the rehearshhal? I'm not that far gone paaaall.....I'm off to the pub....Cheerssh.
Summary: it's carling
