Advantages: Cheapish, Its beer

Disadvantages: Not really the most flavoursome beer

I have long been a faithful drinker of the good stuff, ive enjoyed beers from around the world from african to australian. While i cant unfortunately claim that we in rainy old blighty have the worlds best beers there are certainly worse out there.
When going to the pub carling is my pint of choice and the same goes for most of my mates. Its not the most flavourful of beers but at 4.1% its a drinkable beer, and wont have you dancing shirtless on the pub table singing drunkenly about little goblins or their tiny feet (those of you who are black adder fans will know what i mean ; P ).
Pricewise, Carling is pretty competitive, at my local offy its £6.80 for 8 500ml cans, which is cheaper than the likes of stellar but more expensive than the dreaded sainsburys brand "premium" lager which i must confess i have stooped to when moneys been tight. Carling comes in a bottle or a can, with cans ranging in size from 440ml up to 500 and 568ml (or a pint to you and i) All in all, Carling is a fine beer, its not going to wow you but its a pleasing taste at a competitive price with a high drinkability factor.

Summary: Good all rounder, very drinkable beer
