... and living in Thailand now it is impossible to purchase it here. I do have to leave Thailand for a visa renewal every few months and I now always try to head to Penang where I know that I can purchase this excellent brew. Also as an added bonus I can pick up a box of 24 cans for an excellent price at the duty free shop when crossing the border back into Thailand. I can sincerely recommend this brew to anyone that enjoys good beer and I am even drinking one whilst I am writing this review :-). Still Legless in Thail...more

Without a doubt, this Carlsberg Royal Stout has now taken over as my all time favourite alcoholic beverage. It has an excellent full bodied flavour and I am sure that the high alcohol content does add to the overall flavour of this wonderful brew. Guinness has been my favourite drink for more years than I can remember and this is the first alternative beer/stout that I have tasted that has knocked Guinness out of the premium position for me.
