Advantages: smoothe, creamy, delicious!

Disadvantages: expensive (in $AU, not in GBP)

Where do I start with this one?

I've lived in Australia all my life, aside from the past year where I've been living in the UK. I'm sorry to have to inform you all, you're missing out on something a bit special with this one.

If you typically think Aussie beers are a bit of alright, you'll love Cascade.

Imagine a full bodied, full alcohol (5.1%?) beer, in a funky bottle with a picture of an extinct Tasmanian Tiger on it. Imagine popping off that cap and having the froth come up over the top.

Pour it into a glass, or drink it straight from the bottle. It doesn't really matter. This is a premium beer that allows you to be as much or as little of a conisseur as you wish to be. This beer is exceptionally smoothe, with a very pleasant taste and a delightful aftertaste that will leave you wanting more.

Despite it's fairly high alcohol content, and the relative ease that the beer goes down, it's not all that easy to get properly drunk on Cascade Premium. To start with, it'll slowly eat a hole in your wallet when you consider you could be getting twice as much Fosters or Carlton Draught for the same money. Secondly, the beer is so nice, even if you're set to get drunk for the night you'll find you slow down to enjoy the richness of the taste, to get the most out of your experience.

I've travelled the world, and I've never found a beer that can compare even slightly. My second favorite beer of all time, second only to Carlton Draught, another lamb from the same Fosters (Carlton & United Breweries, CUB) flock.

If you can ever, ever find some, a) Tell me where you found it, b) GET SOME! You won't regret it, I promise you.

What a spot on review! I'm an Aussie living in the UK and often dream of a nice ice cold bottle of Cascade. I'm still searching for it here.
