Gold is a midstrength beer good for the Australian tradition of drinking all day and still being able to stand up. The taste is fairly watery and unoffensive, with no srong bitter or hops flavours. I happen to live down the road from the XXXX brewery here in Brisbane, but not suffering from any local bias I'll try to give XXXX Gold a fair review.
