Emperor's Choice Herb Tea ... was one of my favorite Celestial Seasonings tea of all times. It had a very sweet yet bold flavor and aroma to it. It had a scent of cinnamon and licorice to it, but they were prefectly in balance. This isn t a good tea to drink during the summer months or in warmer weather because the body was dense. However, it is a very good tea to stimulate your mind and body in the cold winter months. If you like honey in your tea, this mixes very well with a drop or two of honey, really bringing out the sweetness. Sadly, Celestial Seasonings decided to go ahead and discontinue this product somewhere between 2000 and 2002. According to their website, they suggest "red safa... Decafinated Mountain Chai Bags ... wise so I decided to take the plunge into a completely different tasting tea in a bid to avoid to washiness of decaff normal tea - I ve been drinking tea for over fifty years and have basically gotten used to my caffeine laden hot drinks so swapping to these sleep aiding versions is proving difficult! It was during a flying visit to Birmingham last week that led me to a lovely new tea from Celestial Seasonings, Mountain Chai which is available is both decaffeinated and decaff and costs £1.19 for 20 teabags. I have never seen this brand before but it looked inviting in the small ethnic supplies store we were visiting, I doubt it s available in any of the supermarke...
