Chang Lager initially a little bit weaker than Singha, is currently pegged at the same ABV of 5%, Chang famously sponsored Everton and also went on a promotional offensive on digital and cable channels around the world making it a household name despite not being available in too many places except Thailand and Thai restaurants around the world. Design wise, Chang wins hand down with some funky elephants on the front. When it comes to taste, Thai beers are a little better than their Asian counterparts, Chang are only about 15 years old as a company and the recipe doesn't claim to be derived from a European one like their competitors. ... Chang is a Thai lager which has just started making its name over here in the UK in a bigger way. For years, we have been familiar with Tiger and Cobra, other beers from Asian countries, but Chang, for me, is better than these. Chang beer has sponsored Everton Footbal Club, and this has naturally helped promote the beer over here. However, the beer has been celebrated for a number of years, winning the Australian International Beer Awards in 1998. The pub I work in has just started stocking it, and I have tried some, enjoyed it, and have brought some home. The bottle I have is a 330ml bottle, and at a 5% ABV, it's not weak by any means.
