My friend who was staying with me due to my neighbour problems brought this for us to share last week. When I saw the packaging I thought it must be rather expensive however she informed me picked this up on offer in our local Tesco store for a mere pound though usually it costs more like £1.50 a carton in all good supermarkets and the likes.

The Packaging:

The packgung of this is really rather classy and of good quality. Its a red cardboard, oblong carton with a twist on/off white cap to the top of it. On one side of it we are tol that it is Cherrygood 'Original Cherry' and that it is 'A very rich source of antioxidants for an active lifestyle' and that it is 'A refreshing Montmorency cherry juice drink' and a picture of cherries is shown. Other information listed on the carton includes being told a bit about the drink, the ingredients and nutritional information is listed and contact details for the manufacturer are given. As far as I am aware this is only available in the sized carton we had which is a 1L size and that is clearly told us on the packaging too.

The Drink Itself:

Well the juice is a red colour, transparent and not one bit thick, its like a diluted juice you do yourself with of course no fizz to it at all. On the carton we are told that this is best served chilled which is something I heartily agree with as I did, coming to the end of my carton leave it out and it wasn't so pleasant at room temperature!

This has a nice, natural and light taste of naturally sweet cherries to it. The flavour is distinctive of that and theres nothing fake about the flavour at all.

I found this to be thirst quenching and natural in flavour though very light in its taste, perfect for a summers day which we did have at the time mind you!

All in all as the packaging suggests this is a high quality product. Once opened this should stay fresh for about 4 days if kept in the fridge though as I say day 4 I left mine out on my worktop and the stuff did go off and made the cardboard carton it was in swell so I did end up losing a little of it.
