I too first witnessed the miracles of Chivas Regal in Paris, France. My colleagues & I bought it as a bit of a joke. However, the way in which it measmurised us really is unforgettable. I remember first tasting it & thinking, this is something REALLY remarkable. Its character was so refreshing and timely; us being in the city of love. I fell in love with it straight away. And thank God I know! This is surely one of the more classy widely available scotches on the market today. I'll never forget my first taste of Chivas. I developed a taste for whisky at a very early age and by 16 was quenching my thirst for the beautiful liquid in many of Dublin's favourite watering holes. It was my Father, however, who noticed that it was mainly whisky of the cheap, brash, in your face variety that my untrained palette had begun to ... Read the complete review
