Advantages: Flavour, Character, Presentation

Disadvantages: Others in range hard to source, Bottle not large enough, Not as widely available as some other whiskys

I too first witnessed the miracles of Chivas Regal in Paris, France. My colleagues & I bought it as a bit of a joke. However, the way in which it measmurised us really is unforgettable. I remember first tasting it & thinking, this is something REALLY remarkable. Its character was so refreshing and timely; us being in the city of love. I fell in love with it straight away. Nothing will ever break me and my partner up. Just hearing its sweet name makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Drinking Chivas (as I fondly call it) is akin to having the world's most beautiful girl on your arm, its satisfying in a way that can not be matched. Sure other whisky's have tried but they have never quite captured its magic. They never will.
Chivas is quite simply the best and I look forward to sampling Chivas Regal 18 & Chivas Regal Revolve. All good things come to those who wait and I waited a year to sample the best. It was worth every single second.
I love u always Chivas
Big up the sessioners in Leeds. Session in peace

Can you get it in this country? Is it a blend or a single malt? What does it actually taste like? Some are more 'sherryish or portlike' because of the casks they're aged in. Some are earthy and peaty.

A lovely tale, but I would have liked to have heard a little about the product.

Welcome to dooyoo, enjoy the site and if you need any help with it then let me know.
