There is a picture of a white cup on the front. The clipper logo appears prominently and it states in white writing that this is the pure green tea from their vast product range. The packaging itself is biodegradable and can be fully recycled. The product is marketed as "natural, fair and delicious pure green tea". I...more

Premium Review Clipper Organic Green Tea: A Refreshing Alternative (586 words)

I drink lots and lots of different types of tea and always try new varieties when I see them available at my local supermarket. I stumbled upon this particular gem however when I was visiting an old friend. It had been a particularly hot day and she decided to have a cup of herbal tea as she thought that it would be a little bit more refreshing. I have tried several types of herbal teas over the years with varied results as I find that some of them smell gorgeous however end up tasting like disinfectant, however I spotted a little green pack in the cupboard which I had not come across before. The name of the product to give it its full title is Clipper pure green tea. I ...  Read the complete review

Clipper Pure Green Tea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am of a generation that doesn't seem to enjoy tea all that much. The majority of the time I would much rather have a cold drink rather than a hot drink. That being said over the past few evening I have started to notice to a distinct change in the weather. Not so much so that you need to stick the heating on but there is a definite nip in the air. My parents love there tea but usually just the normal version. Whilst at their house I noticed the Clipper Pure Green tea Variety and I decided to give it a try. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ About Clipper Tea ~ ~ ~ ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clipper Organic Green Tea: A healthy tea that isn't yukky! (656 words)

When it comes to being healthy I'm the worlds worst at it but like many of us I do try to make small differences if and where I can. This morning I woke up with a really bad hangover after only four gin and tonics last night! This is when I know I need a small difference! Green tea is by no means a favourite drink of mine however I am aware that green tea is a good anti-oxidant and that's what I needed.... a slight cleanse this morning, boy my head hurt (I'm really not a drinker lol)! The Packaging.... Not as depicted on the review photograph but it is that same product it's just that of late the box has changed quite a bit. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review It's Not Easy Being Green (Tea) (494 words)
by - written on 10/06/09 (Very useful, 123 readings)

I didn't grow up a tea drinker - I am American, we don't do tea that well. However, I have been in the UK for over 20 years, and now have a cup of tea (made in a tea pot with loose tea, natch) each morning. Sometimes, though, I don't fancy 'normal' tea, especially if I'm trying to avoid milk (which I do when I'm dieting). I have, therefore, discovered green tea. And I like it. Somehow, green tea always tastes better in Chinese restaurants. I am not in a Chinese restaurant though, I'm at my desk. In front of me is a cup of Clipper Organic Green Tea. Rather unimaginatively, the tea bags are packed in a green box. As well as being organic, this tea is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clipper Organic Green Tea: Refresh your brain with the best! (234 words)
by - written on 28/06/09 (Very useful, 62 readings)
Rating:

People are generally becoming increasingly aware of the nutritional value of green tea. I personally have tried practically every brand of green tea bag on the supermarkets' and health shops' shelves, and Clipper are undeniably the best. (Still not as good as loose leaf Sencha, but that is for hard core green tea-ers like me!) Clipper are also one of the few producers of green tea who actually display some knowledge and understanding of the drink; on the packet it states that hot, but not boiling water should be used, which is the most common mistake people make when trying green tea. The leaves are delicate and have not been processed in any of the ways that ...  Read the complete review
