Advantages: Good for you!

Disadvantages: None really

When it comes to being healthy I'm the worlds worst at it but like many of us I do try to make small differences if and where I can.

This morning I woke up with a really bad hangover after only four gin and tonics last night! This is when I know I need a small difference!

Green tea is by no means a favourite drink of mine however I am aware that green tea is a good anti-oxidant and that's what I needed.... a slight cleanse this morning, boy my head hurt (I'm really not a drinker lol)!

The Packaging....

Not as depicted on the review photograph but it is that same product it's just that of late the box has changed quite a bit. The box is now light green with white and lime green small writing on it and I'm told that the product is Clipper Green Tea, Pure Green Tea 'Light, refreshing and a natural source of antioxidants' and contains 25 tea bags and there there is a picture drawn on of a white flower. On the back of the box I'm told a little about the product, how to prepare the tea (and tips), I'm told how to store the bags and given contact details for Clipper Teas Ltd. On the bottom of the box ingredients are listed (Green Tea only), size and weight is stated (25 tea bags and weigh 50g each) and finally the best before date is clearly stamped on (very long shelf life these do have. These have a best before date of over 2 years in my case!).

A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Box....

Clipper Pure Green Tea is light, refreshing and a natural source of antioxidants.

The natural appearance of Clipper tea bags is because they are not bleached.

Preparation....

Use one tea bag per person. Draw fresh water. Infuse for one to three minutes. Sweeten if preferred.

Tips....

Using a teapot will enhance the quality of tea. Tea appears at its best served in white china.

The Tea....

Well the perforated bags themselves are jam packed full of green tea and the bag is a square and an off white colour. I leave my bag in for about 3 minutes and them I am greeted with a slightly dark brown and cloudy hot liquid (Use hot water of course) lol. There is no aroma to it and I don't add sugar or sweetener, milk or anything to my tea.

The tea itself is actually rather pleasant to be fair to it. It's watery and it doesn't smell and has a light natural taste. This isn't a harsh concoction and I think it's something you couldn't love but I don't think you could dislike it either because really there is no flavour to it at all and afterwards no after-taste.

For me it's a great way to treat my insides without having to hold my nose and feel like puking. I find with alot of green teas that they don't taste at all nice and it's like drinking medicine where as with these I really don't mind adding them to my drinks throughout the day. I even let mine go cool and add lemon and lime to them and if I'm being right posh then I like it in a tall glass cold with lime and fresh mint which gives it a really fresh flavour and seems to wake me up and make me feel more alert.

I've bought this on a few occasions (mine came from Sainsbury's priced 99p) and I recommend these if you really want to be a bit more healthy but without suffering in any way shape or form lol.

Available in all good supermarkets.

Summary: A great green tea!

I've lost quite a lot of weight drinking this stuff! I prefer it when it's got a fruity flavour added to it though:)
Good review as always:)

I actually quite like the flavour of green tea, and find it useful for dieting, as it needs no milk or sugar.
