The taste of peppermint is associated with fresh breath and aiding digestion, and the warm infused tea is fast to work and quickly settles the tummy. A Dutch friend introduced me to drinking peppermint tea. I had indigestion and didn't have any milk of magnesia etc. I was astonished it worked so fast and tasted pretty good too. When I was a kid it was my mother who always, always, had a stash of Polo mints in her bag for journeys - in case we felt car-sick. she only spoiled the effect by, within a few miles of leaving home, she would turn to my sister and I in the back and enquire 'Do you feel sick yet?' - to which the reply could only be 'No. But ... I have to confess, I absolutely LOVE peppermint tea - I drink it ALL the time, even in place of normal tea and coffee. Despite the fact that it tastes fantastic, it's also got the fact that its caffine free going for it (no more bouncing off the walls for me!) and it's also good for your digestion (apparently - not that I have an indigestion problem, but there you go!). Because it's so refreshing and warming at the same time, it's ideal to drink in either the summer or the winter. The only drawbacks are, you have to leave the teabag in to stew for quite some time to achieve anywhere near the desired strength, AND getting people to try it ... Read the complete review
