The Taste ======= I enjoy a strong cup of tea with a robust flavour, blends strong on Assam usually score highly for me and I'm sure that Assam is present here in this tea. Whilst the tea is a strong one, it isn't overly bitter or too strong on tannin, it still has a refreshing taste to it. The Bags ======= Not all tea bags are made alike, instead of a round, pyramid or other fancy style they've chosen to go for the traditional old square bag. Not so technologically advanc...more

Premium Review Clipper Organic Tea: Organic tea that won't bankrupt you (374 words)

Clipper Teas have been gracing supermarket shelves for years, personally I've only purchased some of the rooibos varieties in the past, but was recently tempted by their Organic Everyday Tea, which is I believe a rebranding of their old organic variety. Clipper sell their Everyday teas in three varieties, Fairtrade, organic and organic decaffienated. There is a fourth variety, decaf, organic AND Fairtrade, but I haven't seen it in the stores. Rating:

I like to always buy ethical and organic products where possible. I think this is important for not only the environment but it also makes sure the workers and producers receive a fair deal. I kind of think you pay for what you get, you pay peanuts then you get peanuts. So these teabags are worth the little extra then that you have to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clipper Organic Tea: A Lovely Organic Cuppa (323 words)

Rating:

I drink this tea not just because of certain ethical and environmental principles but also because it makes a lovely cuppa. The company proclaims to have a philosophy that promotes the purchase of only high quality tea from growing areas in the developing world where organic growing methods are combined with good standards of production. Such methods of production are also said to incorporate economic welfare for the tea pickers and their families. This is an approach that ensures protection of the land and the people that cultivate it as well as the wildlife. It can be argued therefore that buying Clipper Organic Tea is a way of contributing to a sustainable and ...  Read the complete review
