Coca-Cola with Lime Coca-Cola with Lime is a variety of coke that was tried in the mid 2000s. I vaguely remember it being advertised with the catchy song 'put the lime in the coke you nut'. The correct song was actually by Harry Nilsson and involved a lime and a coconut. It was a clever piece of adverting and was so catchy the new variety just had to be tried. History of the Variety The coke with lime flavor was released in the UK as part of a summer edition in 2005. It was basically the original coke recipe with a dash of lime. It was also available in the diet coke variety as well. The brand never took off despite being renamed coke ... Read the complete review

I had forgotten all about coca cola with lime until browsing on this site. It is horrid. I could not stand it at all. Now I really love a slice of lemon in my coke when I have a glass but the coca cola with lemon fell far short of the mark on this one, tasting quite synthetic. The lime version is even worse. At least the lemon coke tastes of lemon, even if it is a synthetic lemon. the coca cola with lime tastes a little citrusy in flavour but hardly at all. For me it just had a more acidic and sharp taste than ordinary coke, which meant that at first I wondered if the coke with actually off. Coca-Cola with Lime I have to admit that sometimes I partake of a bottle of coke. Usually when no-one is looking or when the shop I’m in doesn’t sell bottled water. Last Monday, on route to my Weight watchers class, and desperate for a drink, I ended up purchasing a bottle of this stuff from my local corner shop. It cost me 69p. Contained in a green plastic bottle, with the branded and familiar red cap, this is a limited edition offering from Coca-Cola, and I have to admit that I’m rather glad, as I found it utterly repugnant! A bottle contains 500ml and it may or may not surprise you to know that there is actually no lime whatsoever ... Read the complete review

Coca Cola's one of those flavours that everyone seems to love - even though I'd imagine not many people can even tell you what Coca Cola tastes of! When you walk into a bar (at least around where I live!) they often ask you if you want ice and lemon with with your coke, but I've never known them ask me if I want lime with it. Perhaps there's a reason! Somehow the lime flavouring in this drink makes it taste overly dry, and I know that's a weird description for a liquid but let me try and explain. The drink always tastes warm when you drink it, even if it's been in the fridge for an hour or two, and leaves what I can only describe as a residue on my ... Read the complete review
