Coke Zero - No calories but still quite sweet (Coca Cola Zero)

Advantages: No Calories

Disadvantages: Too sweet for me

I purchased a couple of the 2 litre bottles last week as they were only a pound each in Tesco's and gave it to the main Coke taster in our house - namely my son. I was very sceptical - I thought it was just a way of repackaging diet Coke and so improve sales for a bit.

He said he liked it as it tasted different to the usual Coke we got (Diet Coke). I must say I was still sceptical - surely Coke is Coke isn't it????? Well on this ocassion I think that he is probably right!!! It does have a different taste - I would say it tasted more like Pepsi than Coke. It had a much sweeter taster than the usual Diet Coke - I assume they must put different sweetners in each variety.

The taste is also less caramelly and is much lighter than Diet Coke. As I can't drink the full sugar verion of Coke ( I feel that I am drinking Syrrup), it may be that this variety is closer to the full fat version. I wasn't really that keen and I think I will probably stick to my usual variety.

I probaly would have only given this Three stars but because my son says its good and he drinks more Coke than me- so I've given it four stars

Summary: If you like you coke sweet or prefer Pepsi then this is worth a try
