Zero Difference between sugar free cokes (Coca Cola Zero)
Member Name: pagso
Advantages: Calorie free, coke taste Disadvantages: Too many fizzy drinks no good for you - even calorie free ones
I usually drink a lot of diet coke but recently the supermarket had run out so I bought Coke Zero instead. The can claims that coca cola zero has the great Coke taste with zero sugar. Well I though that was what diet coke was. Have done some googling on the subject and discover that the difference between the two is the types of sweetener used. Diet Coke contains aspartame and the Zero version has aspartame and another sweetener called asulfame. I haven't tried a blind taste test but I don't think there is much between them, perhaps the Zero version is slightly less sweet. Summary: Acceptable substitute for diet coke |
