Advantages: tastes great and refreshes.

Disadvantages: A bit costly.

There is a battle I feel that has been with us for a long time, the battle is between Coke and Pepsi to see who makes the best cola drink. I personally back Coke and think they are rightly the top seller in the market for cola drinks. There are of course other colas out there such as Barr`s version and the many stores own make versions but none of them will ever come close to beating the top two.

So why is Coke the better of the two then? Well in my opinion Coke has the better taste for starters which is of course the most important thing. I find Pepsi to be very sticky and syrupy like compared to Cokes refreshing cola taste. Both drinks are better served ice cold but if Coke is a little warmer than that it can still be drank whereas Pepsi is quite horrible when anything other than ice cold and can result in half a can being thrown away if it goes warm.

Pepsi when warm will pour like a glass of foam where Coke will still pour properly and taste almost as good as when freezing. Both drinks come in many forms such as the 330ml can which is always my favourite way to enjoy Coke, the 500ml bottle, the litre bottle, the 2 litre bottle and Coke can also be found in a 1.5 litre bottle known as the share size which I believe Pepsi do not do.

The cost is where Pepsi win because their drink is quite often found at much cheaper prices but for me this reflects the fact that Coke is the more desirable drink. The 330ml cans are mostly priced the same unless on offer which Pepsi often is and Coke rarely is.

The normal price of a can will be between 45 and 50p. A 2 litre bottle of Coke is most often around £1.60 unless on offer whereas the same size bottle of Pepsi can be found for around £1.25, you will also often see Pepsi`s 2 litre bottles on buy one get one free whereas with Coke it tends to be 2 bottles for £2.45 or at Asda`s you can find Coke for 3 bottles for £3.50 at times (a good offer).

Neither of the drinks are very good for you so should be consumed responsibly, a 330ml can of Coke contains 139kcal, 35g of sugar and 10.6g of carbohydrate all of which turns to sugar so as you can see it is bad for both your teeth and your waistline.

So there you have my personal opinion, Coke is the best cola on the market!!

Thanks for reading!

Summary: There`s only one Coca Cola, one Coca Cola!!
