Coca cola is a carbonated (fizzy) drink which has been around since 1886 which is a very long time. It is one of the most well known and recognised brand names in the world with its slogan 'always coca cola'. The company claims that the drink is sold in over 200 countries worldwide.

Reports suggest that Coca-Cola did once contain an estimated nine milligrams of cocaine per glass, but in 1903 it was removed. Apart from the main coca cola drink others have been introduced including Diet Coke, , Coca-Cola Cherry, Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Vanilla, and special editions with lemon, lime or coffee.

The production and distribution of coca cola is through franchising. The company produces the syrup based concentrate centrally which it sells to producers who hold the franchises for the different regions and countries worldwide.

Coca cola sponsors the olympics as well as other sporting events and also is the main sponsor of the football league which represents the three divisions below the premiership in English football.

Coca cola has a great unique taste and it is more popular than other brands which produce the same drink (pepsi being the main rival). It is a drink available almost everywhere you go in shops, vending machines and restaurants. I do enjoy drinking coca cola especially with fast food but have more recently cut down on drinking it and have instead gone more for some fruit drinks without the fizz and water. I still like to have this though once in a while but probably not everyday.
