Advantages: Can be quite nice sometimes
Disadvantages: unhealthy
Coco cola is the popular fizzy drink, now a huge franchise and a TNC spreading all over the world! They now have introduced a range of different varieties (Diet, Cherry, Lime etc) and also in a range of sizes, cans and bottles!
~~~BOTTLE DESIGN~~~
The original bottle design contains 500ml of coco cola, uses transparent plastic and a screw on cap. A printed film labels around the middle, with its iconic red, along with a red cap. These vary slightly depending on the exact product, but they are pretty much the same.
I think it is quite a good design, it is compact and easy to carry and transport and drink.
~~~APPEARANCE, TASTE AND TEXTURE~~~
Coco Cola is very dark brown in appearance, and is a very fluid liquid which fizzes due to the Carbon Dioxide pumped into it.
Drinking this, it has a very distinct fizziness and a pure sweetness which is very recognisable.
I drink it two ways:
1. Chilled- It just gives that extra edge. I cannot drink this at room temperature; something is just missing doing so...
2. Boiled with ginger and or lemon- This is absolutely divine, and perhaps better than drinking it chilled! Not only does it taste great, but it can be used as a remedy to soothe throat apparently... For me, it just tastes great!
However, as everyone SHOULD know, there is an immensely high sugar content in coke, and not much else... Sugar, Water and Carbon Dioxide.
I have never been a mega fan of coke, but wouldn't mind drinking it once in a while, and it does make your teeth go all plaque-y after drinking it which isn't a nice sensation, and just imagine it corroding your teeth slowly... NOT a nice thought!
~~~PRICE~~~
Bottles can be purchased individually for around 50p-£1 at most convenience stores.
~~~OVERALL~~~
Coco Cola is an iconic brand and their products are really quite unhealthy, and I think the whole thing is actually quite disgusting if you think about exactly what you're drinking (nothing much) and the effects are non beneficial apart from momentary pleasure.
However, I am able to appreciate this drink once in a while, then remember why I don't drink it often, and then don't.
I'm sure lots of people love this and see nothing wrong with it, but personally, taste wise, it isn't the best thing on Earth.
Summary: Hate it or Love It

- 08/11/09 I prefer diet coke - I find it more refreshing than the full sugar variety. |
