Disadvantages: Exspenive, laden with calories
Coca-Cola is a very popular household named soft drink. It has distinctive red packaging and can be bought from almost everywhere. Supermarkets, corner shops, discount stores, petrol stations and even in fast food outlets, coca-cola is almost always around somewhere. Coca-Cola kind of come into their own at Christmas time as everybody tends to wait in anticipation for the Christmas advert, as a lot of people tend to think this is when Christmas is finally, obviously here when this advert appears on the TV.
*** Calories & Taste
As with most fizzy pop, they are often laden with sugar and calories and coca-cola is no different. A 2 litre bottle contains 840 calories and a whopping 212g of sugar, but on the plus side, the bottle does promote that it doesn't contain any preservatives or artificial colours.
The taste of the drink is quite distinctive and it's only when I have had a few glasses of this that I get used to it. I tend to prefer to drink dr.pepper as coca-cola is not my first choice, yet to some people this is all they will drink.
Overall it's a nice drink that almost everyone likes and you are able to obtain from everywhere. It is quite pricey and normally retails for about £1.56 per 2 litre bottle, ye there is often promotions on for 3 for £3 which works out a lot cheaper at only £1 per bottle. Their drinks come in lots of ranges from cans, to glass bottles, 3litre bottles, 2litre bottles, 500ml bottles, 250ml tidgy bottles. This brand does tend to consider all occasions when making them.
I have rated this 4 stars simply as i feel the price and calories let it down for it being 5* and the drink is too popular for it to be 3*
*** Hope this helps
Summary: Proberbly seen as Britains most popualr or well known fizzy drink.
