"Made from hand picked fruit"

I've done my fair share of fruit juice reviews over the course of the last year, but most of them have related specifically to Orange Juice - as that's what I often drink at breakfast. However, I do occasionaly indulge in a bit of Apple Juice drinking, and one of my favourite brands is Copella.

Copella don't just make Apple juice on its own, they also make Apple & Elderflower juice - which currently costs £1.93 from the majority of supermarkets for the one litre bottle. Tesco are currently involved with a promotion where you can buy two for £3.30 - which represents a saving of 56p.

In terms of the ingredients, the drink contains; Apple Juice (99%), Elderflower Infusion (1%), and Vitamin C. It's no surprise then, with only 1% elderflower, that the overall taste is dominated by the apple flavour. To be honest, if I didn't know what elderflower tasted like, I would assume I was drinking straight apple juice. That said, Copella Apple & Elderflower is a delicious drink which to me has just the right level of sweetness.

Each 200ml serving contains 90 Calories which represents 4% of your recommended daily intake.

The appearance of the drink is rather cloudy, with fine bits of apple floating around at the bottom - much like the 'juicy bits' you get in orange juice. This is completely natural, and the cloudy colour can be different with each bottle of Copella. The packaging explains the phenomena by saying that "apple crops vary from season to season, so naturally our juices do too".

I would highly recommend Copella Apple & Elderflower as a delicious drink which is ideal at breakfast time. It's a great time to try it right now with Tesco's offer, and hopefully you won't be disappointed.

The drink should be kept refridgerated and used within four days of opening. Highly Recommended.

Summary: Excellent Drink
