Corona Extra
Description: Mexican Lager, 4.6 percent Alcohol. Brewed in Mexico. Corona Extra has a smooth, refreshing taste and well-rounded character with a pleasant malt and hop aroma.
I enjoy drinking bottled beers and as such, have tried quite a few. No matter what I try (except Red Stripe, my absolute favourite which unfortunately, is sometimes difficult to find in bars), I keep coming back to Corona as it is the nicest one.
It tastes really refreshing and is best served with a slice of lime in the neck of the bottle. It is a nice light golden colour and isn't too fizzy, just enough to be fresh tasting. It has a slightly tart taste which makes it less sweet that some bottled beers, and each sip is crisp and thirst quenching.
The price varies, you can pay anything from £1 per bottle on special promotions to £3 per bottle depending on the place that you are in.
One thing to be careful of is that in one pub recently, they didn't have Corona and opened me a bottle of Sol instead, without asking if I wanted it. I paid for it as I felt it would be a waste to ask for something else but wish that I hadn't. It wasn't nearly as good and I didn't enjoy it, so if the bar doesn't sell Corona and offers you Sol, then I recommend that you say "no thanks!".
Definitely recommend this, a cold Corona with lime is a delicious way to relax!
Summary: A favourite tipple
