... say that if you're not a fan of sweet tasting wine then you definitely need to purchase the 'dry' or 'medium' brand, because the sweet variety certainly has a kick to it. It comes in a box and the tab can be a little tricky to open, but once you have opened it you press a button and the wine pours out. I like buying boxes of wine as opposed to bottles: a) because they are better values; and b) because I am convinced one box is better for the environment than four glass bottles. The box itself is quite nice, it is...more

Premium Review Country Manor Boxed Sweet Wine: Cheap and Cheerful! (322 words)

I've been buying County Manner since my student days - plainly because it is cheap, good value and it doesn't taste like cat wee (always an advantage)! I recently picked some up a box from Tesco for the bargain price of £3.93, for that you get three litres which is the equivalent of four bottle of wine at 98p each! This wine isn't particularly strong (it is 7.5) but it has a nice sweet taste and it is nice as a standalone drink, or mixed with wine. I was walking through my local Tesco store, I found myself ambling towards the alcohol section (as I so often seem to.), and perused the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Country Manor Boxed Sweet Wine: Cheap Wine with a nice fresh taste!! (254 words)

Cheap Wine with a nice fresh taste!! Country Manor Boxed wine is fresh, funky and sassy. It is nice and definatley sweet and can be enjoyed with a lovely meal or by itself either for daytime lunch or an evening meal. The alcohol volume of this wine is not as strong as most wine's which come boxed and is only 7.5%, the wine is really easy to drink. The price tag of this wine is excellent, for around £4 per box, you get 3 full litres!! (more than 3 bottles of wine). Unlike most of the cheaper wines, this one is not sparking and does not taste cheap in my opinion. You can buy this wine from most supermakets, and you can also ...  Read the complete review
