Advantages: Cheap, stays fresher for longer, great taste.

Disadvantages: A little bit pricier than normal fresh milk but only by pennies

Cravendale milk is a favourite of mine usually priced at around £1.65 for 2 litres (but on offer in Asda at the moment 2 for £3.00).

Because it is 'filtered for purity' so long as stored in the fridge at the right temperature and within it's use by date which is a lot longer than your usual fresh milk, it will stay fresh for 7 days once opened.

Cravendale milk is finely filtered aswell as pasteurised, which makes it purer for a fresher tase and because more bacteria is removed in this process the milk doesn't turn sour as quick.

It comes in a white bottle with 'purfilre' written on the shoulder. the Cravendale logo it an oval shape in a dark blue colour with a daisy and the word Cravendale written inside it. It does stand out on the shelf and come in full fat, semi-skimmed and skimmed.

It has no additives or preservitives.

The nutrional values for SEMI-SKIMMED are as follows (this is what I buy and have this information to hand):

Tastes great to drink on it's own, really fresh taste or fab in a cuppa!
