“ Manufacturer: Crusha / Type: Milkshake „
I picked up a bottle of this from my local Co-Op as it was on offer for £1, the usual price being around £1.50.
The milkshake is easy to make. You simply add the Crusha syrup to some milk (skimmed OR semi-skimmed) and stir thoroughly until the syrup has mixed with the milk. I find this process easier compared to the milkshake powders. It's also a cleaner process as most of the time I ended up with milkshake powder all over me! I would say that you get around twenty glasses per bottle, depending how much of it you use of course. If you make stronger shakes (with more syrup) then obviously it won't last you as long. I like the fact that you're in charge of the flavour as you can make it as strong (or as weak) as you wish. This "make it your own" process also makes your money go further compared to buying individual bottles of milkshake. This is never a bad thing of course!
The milkshake is quite filling and it gives you some extra energy which is a good thing. You can drink a lot of this stuff too without feeling sick. The banana taste is yummy and it tastes of real genuine banana too, not some fake artificial taste. The milkshake leaves a pleasant aftertaste in your mouth after drinking and the milkshake can be drunk pretty much daily as it's not bad for you. As you mix it with milk it's actually good for you and it's an ideal drink for kids too.
Yummy, yummy, yummy!
I never liked Crusha that much when I was a kid but just lately I've started buying it more often because it's loads quicker to mix with the milk than powder and the taste is yummy, specially this banana one.
It's got a lovely fresh flavour that you mix with ice cold milk, it only takes a minute to stir the syrup into the milk and you get a more even flavour than if you're using the milkshake powder.
When it's mixed the flavour is sweet and the banana taste is wickedly strong, you can adjust the amount of syrup you use to get just the right strength milkshake for you. However strong you make it you'll get a delish flavour that's like a mix of fresh bananas and them banana foam sweets you can buy. It goes proper nice with the milk and gives it the nicest milkshake flavour ever.
Because this is a flavoured syrup it doesn't make the milk any thicker but that doesn't matter because it's a wickedly refreshing milkshake that is yummy to drink. I think it's lovely and sweet but isn't sickly like some milkshakes are, I reckon it's deffo the nicest tasting milkshake that you make up yourself at home.
I usually have Nesquik milkshake but since I've started drinking this Crusha I deffo prefer it because the flavour is loads nicer and I also like how refreshing the milkshake is.
Each 500ml bottle has enough syrup to make about 20 glasses of milkshake, if you make it stronger though you oviously won't get as much but it's still brill value at £1.62 a bottle. That might sound dear for milkshake syrup but it's loads cheaper than buying individual bottles of ready make milkshake.
