Advantages: sweet
Disadvantages: too sweet
Frijj make such super rich milkshakes, I was quite excited to see just how rich the chocolate version one was!
It took me a long time to get into Frijj. For aroud a quid for a single serving, I always avoided it - supermarket own brand chocolate milkshake is cheaper, and some of them are really nice (Morissons, for example). Then they started going on offer quite often, and I joined the craze.
This drink is so rich the taste literally hits you in stages. You gulp it into your mouth, and it's sweet and creamy. Just as you swallow, a second level of richness hits your palate: it's the ultimate sugar rush.
The one downside is the drink is SO rich, it's often followed by a headache! The intense sugar rush puts your brain into near cardiac arrest. It's like a potent drug!
I am convinced that this drink would make a nice dessert - pour it on ice-cream, or a muffin, and I'm sure it would be stunning. However, I've never tried it, as I can't resist drinking it all and going to bed with a headache!

All in all, this tastes SO chocolatey and sweet it's just mind-blowing. It's more like a pudding than a drink, and I can't handle the whole bottle, but in moderation: why not!
Summary: do it!
