Advantages: Nice beer - good taste

Disadvantages: None

This is a bottled beer brewed by Daleside brewery, a small brewery based near Harrogate.

Firstly the name - Morroco Ale. An unusual name, which conjures images of foreign lands, spices and sunshine. While this beer doesn't bring the sunshine, the spices are not lacking.

The beer is dark, and pours well. The smell is devine - yeasty and spicy, hints of cinnamon yet not too sweet.

The taste is even better. This beer has spices in the brew mix, giving it a unique flavour - like drinking a nice curry. The finish is dry, and the aftertaste pleasant. All in all this is an excellent pint to have of an evening. Not a session beer, but a one bottle a night beer, it has to be tasted to be believed!

You can get this beer from many specialist beer shops, and in York you can even buy it from Sainsburys - though I think this is a local arrangement.
