Advantages: Takes away fizziness!

Disadvantages: Taste is a little diminished

Cherry Coke is without doubt one of my favourite variants of Coke - it has a nice, rich tang that's frequently confused with Dr. Pepper, but they do in fact taste rather different, even if it's not a radical distinction.

Nutritional Information (per 500ml)
Energy = 5 calories
Salt = 0.2
Sugar = None
Fat = None

As with the other Diet Coke ranges, it maintains most of the gorgeous taste of the original drink, but takes away some of that fizziness that is most unpleasant when it goes up your nose! Thus, you're left with an arguably more pleasant drink that's minimalist in composition but also ridiculously good for you, with only 5 calories per 500ml bottle!

Generally these aren't as easy to come across as the other Diet brands, presumably because they're a double speciality - both diet and cherry - but they tend to retail at about 80p if you can find them, and in shops like WHSmith, you can often buy two bottles for £1.40. Large 2-litre bottles are also available but a lot harder to come buy unless you rummage through one of the less popular aisles of your local supermarket. They cost £1.45 each, but because they're not very popular, they're rarely put on offer unfortunately.

Summary: Far healthier with a lean taste
