Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: None
I love Diet coke! Don't ask me for particular reasons on this but I just find that other varieties of coke simply don't compete (although I do love Pepsi too!) Available in many formats (most of us are aware of unless you've just been beamed down from planet zog... it's widely available and probably (in my opinion one of the most famous drinks ever and quite recognisable as it isn't as sweet as Diet Pepsi and the likes!).
The Packaging....
I have a 2L bottle in front of me but however your purchase it it's got silver labeling/colouring and red letters on it telling us it's Diet Coke. It's changed over the past 100 years of course but surprisingly minimally. On the cans and bottles we are told that it's a drink made from vegetable extract with sweeteners though of course the jury is out on what it's actually meant to taste of lol. Nutritional values are also given and when it comes to Diet Coke basically it contains no fat or sugar and basically costs us 1 calorie per 250ml serving! Contact details are also always given and a few other bits and pieces too including a list of ingredients. Nothing special about the Diet Coke labelling and general appearance it is what it is and it's famous for being 'Coke' lol.
The Drink Itself....
Very dark brown in colour, always fizzy if stored correctly and served cold. For me it just sweet enough but not packed with horrible nasty sweeteners to the taste that linger in the mouth and coat the teeth and tongue etc. I can't define the taste as such but for me as it contains the colour of caramel and sweetness is added so I'd say there is a hint of that along with some citrus somewhere lifting the taste up and a subtle mix of fruits though nothing distinctive is going on in here.
Basically it's an uplifting, bubbling and refreshing drink, far lower in calories than regular coke and for me, more pleasant and lighter in taste! My favourite way of drinking this is from a can as I feel it tastes more 'fresh' and me well I'm guzzling away on it now! Lovely served cold, rotten served warm where have you been if you haven't yet tried it eh? lol.
Available in all good supermarkets, corner shops, garages etc. You can basically purchase this anywhere!
Summary: Healthy and tasty what a result!
