Its not really like me to write about tea but I was just adding beer suggestions when I remembered one of the awesome tea bags I'd had in a long time. The first time I had a cup of Dilmah Caramel was last year in Armenia, although I'm not a hundred percent - I think it came as part of a parcel from one of my friends relatives from Los Angeles. Dilmah Caramel is widely available in Europe - any supermarket with a good herbal tea supply should have some, although I couldn't seeem to find it on Dilmah's UK website for some reason.

I am not a huge fan of fruit or herbal tea apart from a bit of rooibos or masala tea, the caramel flavour of these bags is wonderfully smooth, the warm moderately sweet beverage is perfectly soothing and with a spoon or two of added sugar it's a great way to start the day or wind down at night. It's a relatively healthy drink (well except for the added sugar) yet manages to combine the feeling of having a box of chocolates and a warm drink at the same time!

I let the tea brew for a while as it was piping and didn't add milk as I thought it would probably take away some of the yummy caramel flavour.

This is a delicious brew and if you haven't tried it yet, I urge you to do so!

Summary: Wicked tea!

I love caramel but I don't fancy caramel tea I'm afraid, Susan
