Dr Pepper Zero
Advantages: Distinctive taste, low calorie
Disadvantages: Not a lot wrong
I am a big fan of Dr Pepper, I usually drink Pepsi Max but Dr Pepper is a drink that I also like to have and after a walk down to the shop just know I decided to pick up a bottle of Dr Pepper Zero as I don't like to drink a lot of the normal variety as the calories can rack up and if I could get pretty much the same taste but with less calories then that would be ideal. So does it stack up on it's own as a tasty drink or are the changes just too much?. Well I think they have done a good job here. It's got a very similar taste which many won't realise it is actually different so that's always good when cutting down the calories you drink.
**Dr Pepper Zero**
So how does it differ from the Original and is it worth the change?. Well the taste is that distinctive fruity Dr Pepper flavour but the main difference is of course the calorie content, here you get just 1.5 calories for a 250ml serving compared to 105 for the standard Dr Pepper which adds up if you drink it regularly. Like the normal Dr Pepper, Zero is best served Chilled and I also look to drink it cold. The bottle I just bought from the shop was very nice and cold from the Fridge. I have now had this drink a few times and would recommend it to anyone who loves Dr Pepper but would like to cut down the calories they drink. This is an excellent drink and is a decent alternative to the normal Dr Pepper.
This is an excellent tasting drink which is refreshing when cold and that's when it should be drunk. I would recommend regular Dr Pepper drinkers to have a taste of this one and see if they might choose less calories but still have that distinctive Dr Pepper taste. The bottles aren't as widely available but you will now see the difference as the Zero is clearly marked and some have white wrappers. The bottles and cans are around the same price as the standard Dr Pepper. So I've done my part why not give it a go. I will certainly get more bottles in the near future.
Summary: Great taste
