Drambuie is something that I wouldn't normally choose, maybe I've only ever bought half a dozen bottles in my life, but it's a wonderful drink, for a change, and for a party too. It's a strong drink, at 40% alcohol content. The bottle we had was the 70cl variety. Many people haven't heard of it, nor tried it, so I aimed to put that right one weekend when we had a few friends over. I didn't ask, but sneaked off to the kitchen, poured everyone a shot, and brought it in. Everyone was given a glass, and I said it's best just to drink the whole glass "down in one". Drambuie is made from a unique blend of the finest 15 - 17 year old single malt whiskies, with a hint of heather honey, herbs and spices. Makes your mouth water just thinking about it doesn't it?
