... there to read that! Dreher Bak comes in a 0.5l or 0.33l bottle and has a dark brown coloured bottle with a red label across it. The taste is a mixture of caramel, coffee and chocolate and of course alcohol, there is a distinct smoky, roasted, toasted flavour to it which does not lead to acidic bitterness. It pours a thick strong brown colour with a white head and shows very little or no carbonation. It's very drinkable but does leave quite a sweet aftertaste like you've been gargling with chocolate....more

Whilst Dreher Classic is a beer made for easy drinking with no tastes to make even the weedy wince, Dreher Bak is a heavy dark dunkel bock style beer of 7.3% ABV but still retains some of the Classic's character in that they have created a tasty dark beer whilst minimalising the amount of bitterness which is so common in such beers.
