Lovely, refereshing fruity wine! This wine is ideal for any occasion - dinner party, quite drink in the pub to a night with the girls! Rose wine is usually a particular favourite with the ladies - but that doesnt mean it is for ladies only! I would recommend this for all wine lovers out there. Another good trate about this wine is that it's ideal for the wallet! and can be often found on special offer meaning more to enjoy! I do enjoy all of the Echo Falls range which are made by the Mission Bell Winery in Californa however this is my favorite of the range with the Pinot Grigio and the Chardonnay in close second! Rose or blush wines are generally thought of as a bit lame in everyday circles. It's what you drink if you're a wine novice, particularly if you're female. It's thought of as being cheap and sweet. I don't know why. Maybe historically choice of blush wines was limited but, hand on heart, I think there are bad reds, whites and pinks out there but, bottle for bottle, far fewer bad pinks. Echo Falls is one of the established "brands" of wine emanating from California. Recently I became aware of a rather cheese-tastic band called The Feeling. Despite generally liking moody types, once in awhile I will get a real hankering for some smooth pop perfection. I turned on my telly to see this band playing a live set at Abbey Road studios, and they were singing a quite lush, plaintive ballad about a lover and her delicate ways. It was lovely, and then they explained the song was about rose wine and how underappreciated it is and that's when I decided The Feeling were worth me parting with ten quid to buy their c.d.
