Efes Pilsen

Efes Beverage Group was founded in Turkey in 1969, and today consists of fifteen breweries in Turkey, Russia, the CIS countries and Southeast Europe, with headquarters in İstanbul and corporate branches in İzmir. Efes Pilsen is the most common Turkish beer. Having spent a summer, some years ago drinking lots of it in Turkey, I became incredibly fond of it. It's not got much in common with it's Czech namesakes but it's still not a bad beer. The thing you'll immediately notice about this beer, is that it appears to have a lack of bubbles and goes flat incredibly quickly. It doesn't really effect the taste though.
