Elizabeth Shaw Famous Names - chocolate & alcohol in one!

Delicious chocolates filled with your favourite alcoholic drinks - what could be better?

These are really yummy - you get a selection of six different types of alcohol enclosed in slightly bitter but sweet dark chocolate.

The drinks involved are:
Grant's whiskey
Cointreau
Harvey's Bristol Cream
Irish Cream
Courvoisier
Drambuie

Don't worry if you're not a fan of all of them because I wouldn't drink all of them but the addition of chocolate makes all the difference! The overall taste is just deliciously sweet with a bit of a kick.

The only real disadvantage (apart from making you feel ill if eaten in large quantities) is that they can be messy. Bite into it in the wrong way and you're likely to dribble liqueur all down yourself and end up in a rather stricky mess. But if you're careful to keep it the right way up and not spill any they are very enjoyable.

The chocolate in these is just right - the perfect compromise between bitter and sweet and deliciously smooth. You also get just the right quantities of alcohol and chocolate with a nice even coating of chocolate all round.

The whole thing just leaves me feeling happy and warm and is guaranteed to cheer me up - the ultimate comfort food!
