This was one of my favorite Celestial Seasonings tea of all times. It had a very sweet yet bold flavor and aroma to it. It had a scent of cinnamon and licorice to it, but they were prefectly in balance. This isn't a good tea to drink during the summer months or in warmer weather because the body was dense. However, it is a very good tea to stimulate your mind and body in the cold winter months. If you like honey in your tea, this mixes very well with a drop or two of honey, really bringing out the sweetness.

Sadly, Celestial Seasonings decided to go ahead and discontinue this product somewhere between 2000 and 2002. According to their website, they suggest "red safari spice" as a "suggest replacement". Personally, I would go with "Tension Tamer" from Celestial Seasonings. They had a similar strength, but Tension Tamer lacks the cinammon aroma and has a thinner body. Emperor's Choice was an amazing tea and I am sad to see it go.
