ernest and julio is one of the biggest and most popular names in the world of wine. Does this make it one of the best? well for the price you pay, yes!!
the white zinfandel is one of my favourite wines, as it is so light and fruity, and easy to drink. at under a fiver it cannot be beaten as a wine to enjoy with friends, or makes an excellent choice for lighter meals such as salads, chicken or fish dishes

this is the garble from the bottle, which normally does not give an accurate description of the wine, but for me this is fairly accurate.
On popping it open, first take in the nose. You will get fresh, clean crisp summer fruit aromas. Very good summer wine, as a lot of the californian wines tend to be. Let the wine circle the mouth, and take a little breath in over the wine as it is in your mouth. This releases the best of the flavour, and allows you to take in the raspberry flavour. Didn't get the watermelon so much myself, but more strawberries, raspberries. Very pleasant ro drink, and not to acidic, it leaves no after-taste in the mouth and as such i think it would be great for the less experienced wine drinker.
All in all this is a cracking wine, and rose has the appeal to all types, as it tends to be the 'safer' option. In many ways this is true, but this wine is a bit more exciting than your usual plonk.
