Advantages: Nice taste

Disadvantages: Too expensive - it's only water!

I started drinking evian bottled water when I went to Paris in the middle of a bizarre heat wave. After a 14 hour bus journey during which I only had one cup of tea, for fear of having to use the dodgy coach bathroom, I was feeling seriously dehydrated and ill.
When we finally got to our hotel, my mom ran out and got me a six-pack of evian and told me to drink up! Obviously, any liquids would have been alright, but the evian made me feel better, so I got another few bottles to take out the next day.

Packaging – Evian now comes in a range of plastic bottles – bottles with sports caps, screw tops, small bottles, large, extra large etc. So there’s plenty to choose from. The ‘Evian’ logo is on the front and back. And lets be honest about this – the evian logo is what most people buy this water for. Around here, it’s really classy to drink evian water – even though most people buy one bottle and then refill it from the tap!

Cost – Evian costs a lot. You could buy a bottle of coke or a milkshake for the same amount of money. Basically the price varies -in the middle of London, you could pay 1.50 for a small bottle. But you can also buy it in bulk from pound shops, etc.

Evian Claims – that their water ‘comes from the French Alps, where it is perfected by nature’ I can’t ascertain EXACTLY how Evian is supposed to be better for you than other mineral water or tap water though….

Taste – I do like the taste of Evian water. You can definitely tell the difference between Evian water and tap water – it has a very pure, light taste, whereas the tap water here is not very nice tasting. I’m not sure if you can really tell the difference between Evian and other bottled mineral waters though.
Basically, I buy Evian whenever I’m on a healthkick, or detoxing or something. I’m sure that it’s basically due to Evians clever marketing, because it’s really dumb to spend a few pounds on something you could get free from a tap! Most of the time, I just drink 8 bottles of plain tap water a day & I feel fine with that.

Summary: Buy it occasionally, but there's nothing wrong with tapwter!
