Advantages: Great Taste, Tongue Tinglying Sour.

Disadvantages: Too Much Sugar.

Fanta Lemon comes in a clear plastic bottle with a thin part about 2/3 of the way up which is great for helping to grip the bottle. It has an screw top lid and a plastic label with the Fanta logo plus recycling information, nutritional information & information on the Coca-Cola company who manufacture the product. The recipe has been altered recently and now contains real fruit juice and no artificial flavours or colours and this is also wrote on the label.

The juice is a bright yellow and is carbonated so once it is open there is a fizzing sound and if shaken too much the juice will fizz up and overflow making a real sticky horrible mess if left to dry. The juice is very sweet and I really can taste a strong lemon flavour to it which makes my tongue tingle a little bit and is deliciously tangy and sour. The bubbles are just right not to be over fizzy and this is best served ice cold or 'super cool' as the label advises. I think that this is quite a nice drink, it goes make my teeth feel a little sugary after drinking it but overall it's a nice refreshing drink that doesn't taste much different to before now the recipe has been changed. It is sparkling rather than ultra fizzy and this is just right for me. I do sometimes wonder if my tummy is a funny colour inside from all these strangely coloured drinks that I love! How random...

Overall I would say that this is a refreshing fruit juice drink with a few bubbles to it. The bottle is well designed and I paid £1.00 for my 500ml bottle from my local corner shop. There are 34 calories & 8.3gof sugars per 100ml, which is even worse than the Orange version, so this should be enjoyed in moderation as one bottle is around 40% of your guideline recommend daily limit of sugars. I am rating this drink 4/5 and have marked it down one star because of the amount of sugar it contains. This drink is refreshing and I love the tangy flavour to it although it's definitely one to be avoided if you have any sores in your mouth or a tooth ulcer!
