Advantages: Tastes nice, refreshing
Disadvantages: Can be sickly after a while, not so healthy
Bought one of these today to go with my lunch. Usually, I'll go for Tango, but this was the only fizzy orange drink available, and so I had it instead. In terms of fizzy drinks, I suppose I go in stages, and it really depends on my level of thirst and energy as to what drink I'll go for.
Fanta Orange and Tango don't really have that much in terms of difference, to be honest. Both are refreshing fizzy orange drinks that don't really taste of real oranges. You don't get the citric kick from an orange with either, and a quick look at the ingredients tells you that 5% of the drink is orange fruit from concentrate, which means that a real orange basically hasn't seent he inside of the bottle.
It tastes quite nice, though. Quite often, when you get a drink that has a fruit or other food attached to it by name without being inside the drink, it has a very artificial and yucky taste to it. This, though, is refreshing and tasty. If I drank a lot of it, mind, it would get quite sickly. A 500ml bottle is plenty for me in one go, thankyou very much.
The drink cost me £1, and this is pretty standard depending on where you shop. Different places may have it for slightly more, or slightly less, and bigger bottles tend to give you better value for money. Each 500ml bottle has 150 calories, and about 35g of sugar, so they're pretty sugary. Curiously, there are also elements of pumpkin and carrot, sdo no doubt the 'orange' in the title relates more to the colour than to the fruit!!
Overall, I recommend this as a fizzy drink. It's not my favourite, but it does the job, is refreshing, and as long as you don't have too much in one go, it's nice enough.
Summary: Refreshing orange drink
