Fanta Fruit Twist
I'm not a great lover of fizzy pop, I go through phases, hardly ever buy any, and then sometimes go to the supermarket and come back with five or six different varieties for the week. At work I always drink tea or coffee, and when it comes to cold drinks, I do drink a lot of water as it is good for you and you should drink so many litres a day anyway.
Fancying something a little bit idfferent today and wanting something fizzy of some kind, I went out to our butty van (the guy that sells sandwiches from his van and various other bits and bobs) and I noticed Fanta Fruit Twist. Not drinking a lot of fizzy pop, I thought this was a new product on the market, I wasn't aware that it had been around for quite a while, I only thought that there was Fanta Orange and Fanta Lemon that I always tend to drink on holiday for some strange reason.
I picked a can up and paid for it and was quite looking forward to opening it as I was really thirsty. The packaging of all Fanta products is great, very bright and appealing to the eye with the Fnata logo across the middle and pictures of the particular fruits that are contained in the actual product.
Fanta has been around for years, especially the Orange flavour, which is the most popular and is available in over 180 different countries, being blond, I didn't think there were that many countries either. Made by the Coca Cola Group, Franta originates from Germany and the name comes from the German word "Fantasie" which means imagination. The most popular country in which Fanta is sold believe it or not is Brazil.
When you open a can of Fanta Fruit Twist, the sweet scent of peaches hits you straight away. I love eating peaches on there own so I had a funny feeling I was going to enjoy this product. The product itself is a combination of Peach and Passion Fruit, although the smell of the peaches over powers any other flavouring that is present within the drink.
The taste is fantastic, you can actually taste both the falvours within it. It is very sweet but not sickly, but it is also very thirst quenching and moreish, as a can didn't last long and left me wanting more, and actually going to the supermarket to buy a big bottle of it.
It is a full fat drink, however it carbonated water, so it isn't too bad for you. I don't think they actually do it in a diet version, however they should because I can never tell the diference between the full fat and the diet version.
Its a great tasting product which I think I am going end up getting addicted too, i most certainly will be stocking up on this. It is extremely tasty.
